So far, this has been a pretty relaxing trip. Last night we went on the dinner cruise, which definitely had great views, and pretty OK entertainment. It was nice because it was moving toward dusk and Honolulu looked great. It kind of reminded me of Auckland a little bit.
Actually, this whole trip has made us think more about moving away to somewhere exotic. We both know we loved Australia, however with the chances looking good that Cat will be in Grad School here in DC next year, we know we can't go anywhere soon. However, we are still trying to figure whether we loved it because it was our honeymoon, or because we really would like to spend some serious time there. I am thinking it is a combination of both. In any case, with the luxury of time on our side we can see how we feel next year and plan accordingly. We would even consider moving to Hawaii, however I wouldn't do it if it was just a compromise on leaving the country. More to come on this topic in the coming months...
Anyway, back to paradise... Not sure what we have planned today. I know we will be taking Cat's Dad to many of the places we want to visit this week, so he can buy the tickets for us at a discount. It's military appreciation month, and you know how I appreciate discounts!
Talk to you soon,
Joe

Just got the first chance to even read the blog in about a week, and man, things are hopping!
That's pretty intense that you're actually thinking of moving somewhere "exotic." If you do decide it's what you want to do, then I encourage you guys to do it! It'll be sad not to have you within driving distance, but honestly, if you have a dream, you should always pursue it. Plus, it'd give me a great place to stay for free on vacation, haha. :D
Thanks Keith!
Yes, no matter where I am, you and Jess will always be welcome. One of us needs to live some place cool to visit.
Anyway, I hope to post more soon. If not during the trip, I will post a recap when I return.
Talk to you soon,
Joe
