Loser in the Yellow Life Vest...

Today we went snorkeling at Shark's Cove on the North Shore... And yes, I was the loser in the yellow life vest since I have little faith in my swimming ability. Despite my stylish vest and my outstanding pink snorkel and swim fins (don't ask), I had an excellent time. We saw a ton of cool tangs and a big parrot fish. Although we failed to take pictures this time, I suspect we will be out on the water again soon and will be sure to get some then.

Tonight, Cat's dad is taking us on a Hawaiian dinner cruise. It is not quite a traditional Hawaiian event, but it is a nice mix of culture, good food and great views. I am looking forward to it.

Oh, by the way, when someone suggests that we double the recipe for Vodka Cream pasta, as Cat's dad did when she was making dinner last night, the important question to ask is, "How much pasta do you really want?" If the answer is, "enough for 4 people to eat tonight and half of Hawaii to eat for the next month," then yes, double the recipe.

Until next time, this is Joe signing off.
