one giant step for dolberkind...

Well, it's official...I have returned to Jake Ivory's--went with some people on Saturday night. It was my idea...I was going through Jake Ivory's withdrawal and wanted to go back, which I figure is a good sign. It was kind of weird at certain times, and made me a little sad, but it was fun...and I was highly beveragized, so that helped. :) So that was a good part of my weekend...most other things remain frustrating and aggravating...thought I'd share the good part instead...

How was your weekend??

Kudos on the use of the word "beveragized." I think it should be come part of the common vernacular... but anyway, I am glad you went to back to this place and it went well... I have to believe that if I avoided every place that reminded me of a sad time, or didn't listen to every song associated with sad moment with me, I would begin to run out of places to go and music to listen to.

So, what else has been going on in DolberLife 2006?

In that case, I'm becoming beveragized at the moment myself.

Where is Keith, you ask? Good question. I am in my hotel bar at the Rosedale on the Park hotel in the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong, the People's Republic of China.

This bar not only has a fantastic view of Hong Kong from its 33rd floor location, but it also has free internet stations. How cool! So here I am, drinking a few beers and writing a few e-mails.

In terms of going back to places, psychologists might say that "this is part of the healing process." I wouldn't say that, but they would, and they have degrees in this sort of thing, so they're probably right.

Haha...good point Keith...but I'm curious...what would you say??

Oh, I probably wouldn't say anything. I am not really into making lofty, dramatic comments about things. Unless it's funny.

Speaking of funny, I'm still trying to find time to write down my deep thoughts and funny stories about China. Work is very busy lately, and so I haven't been able to use that time for my own "personal productivity."
