As you can see, the SentonBOMBS have unfortunately moved down to 5th place after an unfortunate showing on RAW last night. Let's take a look at this week's team!

RAW was generally hard to call, since a lot of feuds were wrapped up at the pay-per-view. I should have leaned more for the SmackDown! side for this reason, but well, I didn't.

Batista (RAW) $5,000,000
Batista retained the World Title at Sunday's pay-per-view, and thus I looked forward him to starting a new feud this week. Unfortunately, his only appearance last night was a 3-minute interview. I lose. WWE Champ John Cena or Shawn Michaels would have been much better picks at this price level, but oh well what can you do.
Booker T (SmackDown!) $4,000,000
Booker is a pretty safe pick this week; he's not too pricey, and he's already been confirmed as one of the combatants in the main event match on Thursday. So he gets a whole bunch of points just for showing up.
Carlito (RAW) $3,500,000
After retaining his new Intercontinental Title at Vengeance, I looked to Carlito for hopefully some kind of match, but instead he hosted his interview show Carlito's Cabana, which fortunately got me some foreign object points for his attack on Rob Van Dam mid-interview.
Chris Masters (RAW) $2,500,000
Once again, Masters proves to be a smart choice so far this week. The Masterlock Challenge match once again nets me RAW match points, specialty match points, finisher points, and finisher win points.
Christian (RAW) $3,500,000
I looked to Christian to get his win back after Sunday night's loss to John Cena. Unfortunately, this didn't happen; fortunately, however, he was in the main event, which made him at least worth the money ("final match" points in addition to regular match points).
Michelle McCool (SmackDown!) $1,000,000
Michelle, aka random eye candy, actually has an announced match with MNM manager Melina. It was really a no-brainer to pick her up this week, even though I don't think she will win the match.
Muhammad Hassan (SmackDown!) $3,500,000
Hassan, the latest SmackDown! draft pick, is in a similar position to Booker T this week. I don't actually know if he will win the 6-man main event match (though if I had to guess, I'd either give the win to him or Chris Benoit), but they're the two least expensive guys in the match. Hassan particularly was inexpensive, and so a no-brainer.
Rey Mysterio (SmackDown!) $4,000,000
Rey is kind of a crap shoot. I was thinking that he just had the blowoff to his feud with Eddie Guerrero on last week's SmackDown!, and so he'd obviously be moving on to something interesting this week (I would've picked Guerrero but he was a bit more money even though he's pretty much on the same level with the company at the moment). I'm actually kind of regretting this decision, because I really have no idea what he'll be doing, but I guess we'll see.
Rosey (RAW) $3,000,000
Rosey has been very dependable for me, defending his tag title almost every week on Heat, so I'm leaving him on the roster until he and Hurricane lose their titles.

That's basically the long and short of it. While the week started off fairly lackluster, I was expecting a better performance out of my SmackDown! picks anyway, so I'm not too too concerned. I was forced to take a different approach this week, really looking at how much stars cost rather than just picking people I thought would win matches (since I really had no clue who would even be in matches on RAW), and it yielded mixed results. Hopefully, the rest of this week will return The SentonBOMBS to their former glory.

Hang in there keith,

It is dealing with weeks like this one that define the true champions.

And... for those playing at home, what exactly is a Masterlock challenge?

Glad you asked, Joe. Basically, it's an exercise in the grand tradition of wrestling heels (bad guys). "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters comes out and offers some large sum of money to "anyone in the back" to come out and break his submission hold, The Masterlock. Really, it is just a regular full nelson. But shhhh. Anyway, someone comes out, Masters punches them in the back of the head, applies the hold, and they can't get out. This apparently counts as a "specialty match," which means I get lots of points when he inevitably wins it.

Logic has it that eventually someone will come out and break it, but so far no one has. He started with just people from out in the crowd (obvious plants, of course), but moved up to "youngster" types (the random guys who would always get beaten on WWF Superstars back in the day) and then to actual minor stars. He still hasn't been beaten, so here's hoping he continues his streak. :)
