Technology Fest 2006

I am a little late on this post, but I wanted to share our technological bonanza that took place last weekend. Thanks to Comp USA and their 24 month interest free financing, we were able to strengthen the technological infrastructure of our home...

The bonanza included: a new laptop for Cat, as well as a backup hard drive for Joe, and a new all in one scanner. In case you didn't know about out former printer, it just hasn't been the same after churning out 100+ save the date cards, 100+ wedding invitations, as well as hundreds of other wedding related odds and ends like direction cards and responses. The bonus here is that I have a scanner again. The old scanner never seemed to survive the multiple moves from college until now, and had to be put down last year.

As for the backup hard drive, this is a great boon to my household. For those who either know the musical Urinetown, or my history with computers and hard drives, suffice to say that we will not be reliving the Brad Years... My data has been fully backed up and is secure. It has also led me to begin thinking about future web ventures. I will have more on that when the time is right. (This is the closest we come to cliff hangers here on the blog.)
