Although I am not the most discerning movie-goer, I needed to openly endorse Snakes on a Plane as the best made awful movie ever!!!! This movie has everything you want to see in a corny action film... Snakes, gratuitous sex, bad dialogue, snakes and SAMUEL L JACKSON!!! This film was so well made they had to refilm parts, just to make it campier! Imagine that... They tried too hard. First, the random picture of the day that came up accompanying this post was perfect (Dazed and confused Joe). Second, as another Snakes viewer, I think Joe's review pretty much hit the nail on the head...though I would only endorse the film for those who can stomach a good deal of gratuitious gore (though you can judge for yourself if the gratutious gore counteracts the gratuitous sex or not...it's all relative :). Seriously, there's a LOT of gross, gory, gooey scenes...so for those who enjoy that type of thing you will be entertained beyond belief. And yes, Samuel L Jackson was awesome! Ok...next stop on the Dolb List O'things to do...look up how to spell gratuitous...perhaps that's correct, I wouldnt know...Keith?? :)
Thanks for the endorsement, Jess! I know you log on at work sometimes, but for your home computer, I highly recommend download the Google toolbar, which has a spell check for web forms. I love it and it is the reason that the majority of what I post is readable.
