Probably everyone who reads this blog graduated Goucher College in 2001. So I'd like to remind all of you to register for our 5-year reunion if you are going. Mostly because I don't want to be there by myself. :)

I'm in!
I signed up for the Turtle on Friday, the tour at 11am on Saturday and the Beer Tasting at 2:45.
Did anyone sign up for lunch?
I didn't, but since Cat will be teaching during the day, I thought we could just eat light (which will help with the beer) and she could meet up with us sometime after the beer tasting so we can do an early-ish dinner.
Let me know what you think.
Joe
I signed up for exactly those things as well, and nothing more.
I didn't sign up for any meals, as I figured I'd rather either get meals with just my friends, or take the lady friend out on the town.
That plan sounds like a good one, Joe. I'd also like to do a bar night on either Friday or Saturday (maybe both). Where, I guess depends on where I end up staying. Or maybe not. Nick Singer may be coming out too, which would be cool (though he is not coming to any Goucher events as far as I know).
Speaking of bars, I was thinking of hitting up this place at some point. It has been one of my favorite Baltimore bars ever since Ridg Mills took us there on your 21st birthday. :)
Right now, we know we can stay out until 11:30-12 on Friday, since Cat has to be up early the next day. I guess the crowd who shows up will determine how long we stay at the Green Turtle.
Do we know anyone else who will be there yet?
As for Saturday, I will check with Cat to see what the plan is, but the Brewer's Art was a fun place. Do you know if they have other non-beer things? Cat isn't really into the beer but likes the hanging out.
I think Audrey and maybe Sheila are showing up. I don't really know. There
is actually a list of people who registered, but I don't remember anyone I
cared about.
Brewer's Art has a full bar at both the upstairs and downstairs bars. Took
my ex there, she was not a beer drinker but they could make her whatever
mixed drink she wanted. So I think Cat will be fine.
Totally psyched about this. Do you know anyone else cool who will be around that weekend?
You're making me kind of sad about not coming...though, as I mentioned to Joe the other day, I really don't think it pays money wise or transportation wise to comet hat weekend. I can't really miss two days of work, so I would be better served to pick a time when I can spend longer and when I won't have just traveled home for Easter and Passover. Also, as I said to JOe, tell the people I'd care to say hello to that I said hi. :) I think you should write a full report on the blog though...and just so you know, I give Brewers Art a thumbs up...I always liked that place and they will make pretty much any drink. Also, if I was going, I'd want to kind of hit Paper Moon, but maybe that's just me...have fun...
And Keith, pick a weekend you wanna come visit that you won't forget about next time ;)
I like this "Comet hat weekend" that you speak of. It sounds exciting. Far more exciting than reunion.
Anyway, I think Jess is right that we should all pick a time, maybe in June or July and have a fund weekend.
Ooohhh...Comet hat weekend...I've invented something rather exciting without even knowing it...nice...I think summer sounds like a good time for a "fund weekend"--gotta be down there around july 2 for andy's wedding anyway...
Sweet, I forget about the blog for a night and I come back and there is a whole conversation going on! Neat-o!
First off, I want to make a public apology to Jess for ditching her this past weekend. I forgot about a promise I'd made and committed to with someone else, but that's not an excuse. Sorry :(
Comet hat weekend sounds pretty sweet indeed. Maybe we should all get together around that time. Maybe New Year's, when comet hats won't seem too bizarre. :D
In terms of reunion weekend, Jess, I will definitely provide a detailed report of what goes on.
Well then Comet Hat Weekend it is...I look forward to it! Thanks for the public appology...I suppose I can forgive you. ;) I will anticipate the narrated events of reunion weekend...hopefully there will be some good stories to post. Let me know if the Lil' Strom baby is present and accounted for. :)
Could I give my review in shapes and colors instead of in narrative format?
