Open bar, buffet dinner, and live music. Holy crap I am getting so drunk it's not even funny.

New Year's Eve turned out to be a great night, though not for my liver! :) I am guessing that I had something like 15-20 drinks over the course of the night, and I definitely felt it in the morning. But I got through it, and lived to tell the tale.
And no, Joe, for the first time in a while, I drank heavily on New Year's Eve and did NOT puke. :D
I am glad you were able to hold it together. This is important :)
Anyway, after an abysmal holiday, we chose to stay at home and watch the shell of Dick Clark rock in the new year. It wasn't nearly as bad as it sounds, but after watching Dick Clark, barely audible due to his stroke, stubmble throught he countdown, it is easier to be greatful for the things that you have going for you in your own life.
Well, I'm glad you guys were able to make a negative into a sort-of-positive. :)
Everybody is talking about the Dick Clark horrow show, but I definitely missed out ("well, I wouldn't say I was MISSING it, Bob!"). I didn't notice until about 12:59:50 that there was even a countdown going on; there was so much talking and carrying on in the bar that no one really noticed until they turned off the music for the countdown. :)
