On My Own

So I'll get it out of the way quickly. I have my own blog now.

Don't worry, this will not affect my posting on Egypt 6; in fact, I think it will have quite the opposite effect. I am reserving this new blog more for my "travel stories," and less for random observations. My memory is not that good, as you all know, and I want a way to be able to keep my memories of my vacations and go back to them whenever I want... and also to share my adventures with the world.

Anyway, here's the link; all I have there now is a funny story about my last A.C. trip, and the design is just a barely-modified version of the default theme that the blog program came with. But it's something to hold me over until my next real trip.

I think having a travel blog is a good idea. I hope you have many stories to come to fill it with.

What bridge is the picture on your blog from?

Also, when did you get jerseybound.com as a domain?

I'm like 99% sure it's the Delaware Memorial Bridge.

I bought jerseybound.com about a month ago, as the home for my travel blog. I took it from a Coheed and Cambria song called "Devil in Jersey City," and I think it has a nice ring to it.

I thought it was the Delaware Memorial Bridge, but I didn't want to say it and sound like a dope if it wasn't.

The page has a nice clean look and I love bridges, which made it that much better for me. I give your blog 4 out of 4 stars.

The look it has right now is actually the default WordPress theme, which I just added my banner to. I plan to actually make my own design once I have more time. My goal is to finish it before the China trip, which will kind of be its official launch.
