Greetings,
It has been a while since anyone has written at length on the site, so I thought I would itemize my news and notes, as well as any general ramblings for you.
- I'm tired. That's why I am writing this and not working at the moment. It has been a long, long, ast couple of weeks, which you will learn about here.
- A/C is fixed- After two long weeks of little sleep, living in other people's homes , 96 degree temperatures (in the house, 95 degrees outside), 2 days of my dog having to be placed in a kennel and 4 visits by the A/C repairman, my A/C finally works! I can now pick up the pieces of my broken life and move on.
- School Work- I just finished my independent study for the Summer, which included creating 23 instructional videos. I am now waiting on my grade. Please keep your fingers crossed.
- Invitations- Despite the temperatures, Cat and I have completed 85 of 96 hand made invitations, which should be in the mail as you read this. I think you will like them as we designed and assembled them ourselves, based on some stuff we saw on the web.
- Where's Dolb?- I know Jess has been busy, but we miss her here at the blog. I hope she returns.
- Web pages- I was bored yesterday, so I decided to look at cool java things to put on my "god knows when it will be created" web page. If I had any money I would just go ahead and buy some space and a domain and start working once I got back from my honeymoon (althought I would like to pla with it even before the wedding if possible). My biggest issue is that I know what I want on my professional site, however I want to also have a fun site. I wish I could bring back the East Coast Web Sentinel. With the new technology at hand, I can see that site being quie vibrant, as well as a great home for lots of weird material. Sigh...
- My Hampster is dying- After nearly three years, my poor hampster Gwen is finally wearing down. I think the heat wave in my house, which prompted us to move her to a friend's house for the worst of it, might have been too much for her, given her advanced age. I bleeive hampster ususaly only live to about three. She is really my first non-fish pet that was only mine. So to see her, now blind and off balance, stumbling around her cage, is really hard.
- On a bright note, I made an instructional video for work that has a chance of being used by all of the orientation classes at my University. It outlines how to access information on the new student portal which opened in June. It seemed like more of a lock last week, but who knows? I am just happy for it to be considered.
- Finally, here are some things coming up.... I will be going to the tuxed shop in the next two weeks and squaring things away. I will be contacting groomsmen about ther measurements and pricing accoringly. Also, I think we will try to have a Best Men/Maid/Matron of Honor Summit either in September or a couple of days before the wedding. This way we will all be on the same page.
- Finally, (really this time), have I mentioned that I am really getting excited about this wedding????
Thanks!

A few points.
Why not bring back the Sentinel? You say "you wish I could"... what's stopping you?
Also, speaking of the wedding, you and I need to meet, or at least talk on the phone, and discuss parties of the bachelor variety.
Keith,
Time is my major obstical at the moment, as the wedding, my school work & the website I am still trying to build for Cat's mom, not to mention the professional site I need to build for myself, are all priorities. I still can't justify working on it until I have been able to manage these items.
My other concern is having a safe stable place to put the sentinel. Like I said I need to buy the space and the domain in order to move forward. I think I can justify the expense afterthe wedding, so we will see.
As for the Bachelor party, now that I am wrapping up invitations, I will give you a call soon.
Speaking of which, you guys did a nice job on those! I got mine yesterday or so.
I did some "research" this weekend when I was down in A.C. ... need to call a few hotels tomorrow, and then I will report back hopefully with a plan, for your approval. :)
Sounds like a plan!
The legendary Nick Singer and I will probably be doing the final "research" next weekend, as I don't think I hit every place I wanted to. But that won't really affect me getting invitation emails out by the end of the weekend.
Also, is the maid of honor hot?
