It has been far too long since I posted and I am way too tired of doing my work to care any more for today.
Instead, I will ask you what is the worst car related story you have heard? I will throw out a few, past and present:
Last week: A friend says to me, "Well, it has been about 12,000 miles since my last oil change, but when I was there last, they knew I don't change it often so that put some "special" oil in it." hmmm....
From Goucher (paraphrased), "Can you look at my car, I think it died. The oil is black and doesn't seem to flow any more..." After looking at the car, "When did you last change the oil?" "I don't think I have ever changed the oil, now that I think about it."
Personal Experience: (Forgive me if you heard this one...) "While driving through Baltimore city, we stopped at a red light near the inner harbor. As we slowly pull away amongst the traffic we pass some kids on a street corner who begin to kick my car, leaving it with a small dent. It made me very sad....

Worst car related story I can think of was "You know how I reported my car stolen? Wellll I found it around the corner from my apartment today. At least I was able to get my stuff out of it."

Yes, they definitely sound familiar! ALso, sorry to rehash bad memories for you, but I was thinking also of a certain blowout on the way back to goucher...I won't go into any more detail...except I remember a very appropriate song was playing as you entered the campus, though I don't remember what you said it was...I am also put in mind of you "fixing" your car in front of the Dolber Land House with paper clips...
Also, I guess the worst thing I have ever personally seen in terms of cars was when we were visiting colleges and I was going to look at Oswego and on the other side of the divider, this car completely flips over on its hood...it was one of the worst things I've ever seen...but i think my personal favorite might have to be keith's entry about the car being around the corner... :)
Again, these are all very good.
I also have no problems with rehashing my own mishaps, although I do not remember the song either.
I am fond of the paper clip incident in front of your house though. That was very good.
As far as cars flipping over, I have no specific times to recall, however, I rememebr being behind a jeep while driving and kept thinking how easy it would be for this light little jeep to hit a rock or something, flip over the divider and get hit by on coming traffic. It never really happened, so it doesn't count.
I could swear I also remember a story involving mass amounts of water and New Orleans.
What about those trucks that carry mass amounts of cars on two different levels...you know what I mean? I don't know what they are called but I did have a very cool matchbox version back in the day (actually probalby still have it somewhere)...but it always looks like the last car on the edge of the top level is seconds away from falling off the edge and right onto another car (usually the one you are driving or riding in)...not a huge fan of those things... btw, joe, on a side note...good conversation starter apparently... :)

And Keith, I do vaugely recall a car in New Orleans that filled with Water in a flash flood. The funny part about that trip however, was the fact I left my travel alarm clock at new Orleans.
Years later, I saw emily in target up at towson and she said she had it in her car and would get it for me. She never did. It was a horrible, horrible tease.
Longs tory short, five years after my car flooding, I finally bought a new travel alarm clock and all is well.
I always wanted to have sex with her back in the day.
I remember you mentioning that. Oh the memories...
