Hiatus

Just wanted to announce my week long temporary leave from the blog, as Dolbs everywhere unite on a Carribean Cruise for a family vacation. I will be back to regular blogging status either next Friday night (2/25) or Saturday morning (2/26). Have a wonderful week and feel free to play Dolb Blogging Reruns should the occasion arise, until I return with new episodes. :)

Oh, man. Joe will really need to step it up to keep me entertained in your absence. I wonder if he is up to the task.

I will do my best. It will be hard to pull up the slack, but I am a trooper.

Well, it seems you've both managed without my presense. :) My trip was fantastic and is already starting to seem like a dream. Here are some highlights...We went parasailing over Coco Cay Island!!! We were 400 feet up in the air and it was so beautiful and peaceful! Key West was also great...I really love the whole atmosphere and feel of it. And we went into this great little bar where this guy was playing acoustic guitar and everyone was singing along. It was fantastic. Lying in the sun, in a hammock with a tropical "girlie" drink was a definite highlight, and of course, the ship was beautiful and the food was fantastic. I gained 2 and a half pounds and I probably ate less than anyone one the ship. :) And now, for something neither of you will believe...on the first night I did karyoke...singing BY MYSELF the song "I WIll Survive" in front of a room full of people! (see soundtrack listing for more info. :) It was funny becuase before I did it, I said I was really nervous and it started out bad becuase I started singing too late and was a little off with the first verse, but then I caught up and got really into it and it was so much fun. So at the end, the announcer comes over and was like, so what do you think? Will she survive and everyone cheered and everything...he was obviously talking about the song, but it kind of had a bit of a deeper meaning for me,which was kind of poingant and cool...anyway, it was a great week and is incredibly hard to come back to work, school and winter...especially since we had no heat when we got home cause there was a problem with our heater while we were gone...anyway, I return to Boston tomorrow...back to real life I guess... :)
