Well, since I know you all care, it's that time again... That's right! It's time to get ready for Fantasy Baseball Season.
This year I am angry...AND bitter. In case you didn't know, I statistically tied for first place last year (well, whooptie damn do, you must be thinking!). Well, instead of winning a trophy, like all winners usually do, I find out that I did not in fact win because I failed to meet the innings pitched requirement.
Now, if I really broke the rules, then I need to take the lumps for it and admit defeat. Unfortunately, the rules of our league only stated that for drafting and cash purposes that I would lose my position, but said nothing about losing my actual position. When I asked the commish a month before the season ended, he led me to believe that it should not be a problem. After the season ended, he admitted that he more appropriately thought it would not be a problem because he did not think my team would win.
Now, I am sure you are thinking, "Man this is lame, it's only fantasy baseball," however, keep in mind it is something that I commit to for 6 months out of the year, checking on statistics daily and doing many hours of pre-draft preparation prior to the season.
I ask you friends, you unite against DRBL and voice your displeasure. If interested, I will provide you with the necessary contact information for said commissioner, if you do not have it already.

So you're saying you got screwed out of money?
Unfortunately, yes I have been screwed out of money, but I understood that this was according to the rules. What I am upset at was that I was screwed out of being co-champion and winning the trophy.
See, the money I can relate to. The rest, sorry man I can't help you there.
As someone who actually sat there and watched you engage in draft picking, (though I hesitate to admit it) and even accidentally knocked you offline a couple of times freshman year :), I think I understand what you are saying about how much work and time you put into it. I am sorry you got screwed out of co championship. For me, I feel like its the principle of the issue that I can relate to.
Okay so, after rereading the original post, I have come to the conclusion that the actions of DRBL were pretty dick. Do you have a leg to stand on here? Any emails saved where the guy in charge said it wouldn't be a problem? That would probably give you some ammo if you wanted to actually try and fight city hall.
