Ink Blots

Joe, I can't take credit for this...it's jordana's idea...if only she had thought of it sooner while we were still at Goucher...we could have created our own Rorshach's Ink Blot tests for Norm's class for an A instead of the final...he may have gone for that...creativity...enhances our understanding of the complexities of the human psyche...think of all the sail boats and palm trees...
Keith--I bet Mary would have gone for that too...

Mary may have been an offbeat individual, but her grading was fairly by-the-books if I remember correctly. So really all this would have accomplished would have been more work, since we would have had to create the test and then write 10 GOOD pages analyzing it. :)

(Disclaimer: Keith woke up about 2 minutes ago. This post may or may not make sense.)

Yeah, you are probably right about Mary. It's the "10 Good Pages" that make all the difference. She would have liked the idea, but the carry out would have actually had to make sense. :)

I am not too sure about this ink blot thing. If it is too far out there, it might just be in Norm's wheelhouse and he might actually expect something.

I like topics where Norm has to keep a distance, like ones with words and well connected ideas. The ideas don't have to be good, but if they are well connected, they become a sort of chain-link fence keeping him on the outside.
